Grading system – 25. May, 2009

Most technical education institutions in India can be classified into 2 categories:

  • Independent
  • Affiliated to the university

So if most of the class gets 5/100 , the highest scorer in the class who gets 10/100 is assigned an A grade.

Most engineering colleges are affiliated with the university in their area and follow the standard marking system based on marks scored, followed by universities in India
